Information Noms handles
Noms may process account and sign-in information, profile details, food preferences, dietary needs and allergies, saved places and recipes, foreground location, searches, social activity, user-created posts and comments, photos and videos you choose to upload, subscription status, and technical or support information.
Apple, Google, Supabase, RevenueCat, Foursquare, GIPHY, Spoonacular, TheMealDB, Expo/EAS, and configured authentication or messaging providers process information only as needed for their parts of the service. Noms does not sell personal information for money and does not use data for cross-app advertising tracking.
How information is used
- Authenticate accounts, restore sessions, and maintain profiles.
- Provide restaurant and recipe matches, saved content, social features, and subscriptions.
- Process reports, prevent abuse and fraud, secure the service, and respond to support or legal requests.
- Operate and improve reliability while honoring device permissions and visibility settings.
Retention and security
Account, profile, preference, and user-content records are generally kept while an account is active. Stories are visible for about 24 hours. Routine service logs are targeted for no more than 90 days, support and resolved moderation records for up to two years, pseudonymous deletion audit records for up to one year, and backups normally roll off within 35 days. Billing, fraud, dispute, and legal records may be retained as required.
Noms uses access controls, Supabase Row Level Security, private storage, server-side provider credentials, request validation, rate limiting, OS-backed secure session storage, and server-verified subscription status. No system can guarantee perfect security.
Your choices and rights
You can control device permissions, visibility settings, saved content, subscription management, and sign-in state. Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of eligible information. You can permanently delete your account inside Noms under Profile → Settings → Account & Plan → Delete Account.
Deleting a Noms account does not cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel the subscription separately in the applicable store.
